The Denver Barbarians Rugby Club announced today that Stephen Hazel has been named as Director of Rugby.  Hazel will work with a growing dynamic membership and experienced engaging staff.

Hazel, most recently, has been the Barbarians’ USA Rugby Super League (RSL) head coach.  He coached the squad to an RSL championship in 1999.

As Director of Rugby, Hazel is responsible for overseeing the staff (coaching and managers), recruiting and player development and all rugby programs.

Stephen has been selected to the position due to his organizational skills and vision for building the club’s rugby programs.
